Carmelita's- Rancho Santa Margarita

Mad our reservation 2 weeks in advance through open table. Received confirmation and frequent text reminders about it. Got to the restaurant and they didn’t have it in the system. They were able to accommodate us within a few minutes but I worry that had they been even a bit busier that we would have waited a while for a table. Service was slower than usual but we weren’t in a hurry so it was fine. Margaritas were amazing as always and the black bean dip is always worth the wait. Love Carmelita’s and I hope this was a one-off experience.

Carmelita's is a gem. We are consistently pleased with our experience and food there. In particular, I have just recently tried their mole and it is some of the best that I have had. A little on the pricey side, but it is worth it. Try to sit outside.

Had a great time! The margaritas were amazing! I’m vegan and managed to get the salad and it was so delicious. The dressing was awesome. Thanks guys!
