Charming restaurant with a great menu. We had a great waitress Anna-Lena. try to sit in her section. You could tell she loved her job and cared about your dinning experience. I am a celiac so require a gluten free diet. She was very informed...about the menu and was able to tell us which items were gluten free. Her English was very good and translated the menu for us. I ate the Bratwurst, which was gluten free. It was the best Bratwurst I ever ate in my life. Totally unlike the ones you generally find in North America. This Brat was made of all lean good cuts of pork. No excess of fat absolutely no grit. The flavour was scrumptious! I great stop for some authentic Bavarian eats that will leave you wanting more!
Great food the homemade yogurt and fresh greens are amazing and old world charm and hospitality.
I was staying in the hotel as part of a business trip and we joined by our German colleagues for dinner in the restaurant. Luckily they translated the menu very well as there is no English version and my German is basic at very best!...We skipped the starters although they looked really good and went straight to the mains. We all had the rump steak cooked various ways mine was medium. Now, I'm really fussy about my steaks and I have to say this was cooked to perfection. The meat juices came in a little jug on the side and it also came with seasoned green beans, potatoes and a shallot butter (which was amazing as well). We then had dessert I had a banana that was sliced up with melted chocolate in a side dish and vanilla pod ice cream. It was fantastic. The whole meal was cooked and presented fantastically and the proof was in the people it was packed on a Monday night with locals as well as guests!
We came here recently whilst on a self catering holiday. It was our first time in Randersacker, and we were first attracted by the beautiful building. Not eating meat can sometimes be a problem in restaurants, but the delicious food here, and high standard of service,...had us visiting again and again. The vegetarian options included an amazingly good pasta dish, with a wine sauce, vegetables and grapes. So yummy I had it three times ! (not on the same night, not that greedy! . On our last night we ate in the candle light courtyard, and I managed room for a more than tasty dessert of plums and 'quark '. Was given a woollen blanket to wrap round me when it got chilly. It goes without saying that the wine was exceptional as all wine from this small town near Wurzburg.
