We were excited to eat traditional Swiss dishes, but found that they were nice, but not inspiring. The prices are very high for the quality of the food, which is a shame.
Our family has had many memorable delicious dinners at Petit Paradis over the years, but last night’s dinner will be our last. Starting with the cocktail “list” which turned out to be of one cocktail (an aperol spritz served with a bendy straw), and then progressing to a chanterelle special starter that had residual dirt/sand every other bite, it was a disappointment. The perch meunière was actually fried fish with a side of tartar sauce. The steak, ordered medium, was served raw. The emince de veau/veal was all sauce and very little meat. And my mother’s order was incorrect. A waiter with a mask below his nose and high prices were the final insult.
We stayed two night at the hotel. The view from our balkony was breathtaking. The room we stayed in was very cozy. We loved the food, and while reading the other comments, yes a bit pricy, but top quality!!! The service is very professional and friendly. Would definitely go there again. We had an awesome stay!
This is a lovely BnB type place, the rooms are cozy though some you have to share a bathroom which is in the corridor.. The food however is proper swiss and delicious! Get some cheese fondue and rostii! It's fairly small inside, with some seating outside in the summer to enjoy the views! 5-10 minutes walk from the Funicular that goes to Sierre or Grans-Montana.
Le 6 mars, alors que la neige tombait à gros flocons nous nous sommes arrêtés à Bluche pour déguster une excellente fondue à la viande. Tout était parfait. Grand merci.
