Lynda's Capitol Cafe - Randwick

The good : Service was quick, food was prepared well although a little cold..The bad : The coffee was cold (or close enough to it machine set too low not cold from slow delivery), for a breakfast of bacon and eggs and coffee at $19 per head seemed a little petty to charge 50cents for sauces which all else simply supply, restaurant was full of flies.For a small takeaway had an amazing amount of uniformed staff...

Always friendly staff, good service and good food. Both indoor and outdoor tables. Most food prepared on the premises including excellent pies.

Was really looking forward to my stopover here after a few hours of driving. The staff was inexperienced but friendly. Asked for extra crispy bacon in my bacon and egg but got normal bacon, the egg was overcooked and the bread tasted a rather stale. Couldn't taste the banana in the banana smoothie - it was all milk and froth and not very cold either. Even the cover was too small and it was cracked because they tried to make it fit! Even thought I'd try their cakes but the lemon meringue they gave me had dirt specks on it so requested another slice which was nice. Would have loved to give this place good reviews as I was really looking forward to stopping over in this charming town. Won't be back unfortunately,

The Current owners are not very friendly people but the food is nice. They need to make sure tables are clean and cups do not have cracks in them

After our failure at the crepe myrtle Cafe we went here instead. We had fish and chips, they were knowledgeable on gluten free cooking and the food was brought quick and was hot and tasty. No complaints.
