The blue orchid was a refreshing Thai food, no buffet, not heated for hours and covered in a sugar-based general sauce. My husband can be a converter, he loved his happy noodles and chicken. I absolutely loved the Tom ka, the taste was from this world! The children disappeared their chicken and lemongrass plugs. I really want to try again for more Tom ka and the hot pot!
A positive experience! The order came out quickly and the food was good! I command Blue Orchid again when I'm in town.
The takeout experience was exceptional, from start to finish! The employee who took my phone order smiled when he provided helpful information. The plant was over-and-exceeded COVID-19 compliant, including all employees wearing facial features. The three varieties of dumplings we ordered were delicious, as were spring rolls, house roasted rice, Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai. The Chili Chili Duck was amazingly slim, fleshy, delicate, loaded with vegetables and YUMMY! Electron Brown Ale, which tastes like coffee, and Thai Iced Tea complemented the meal very well, making the unique homemade desserts. We have leftovers for another meal!
Beautiful, charming and welcoming, family-friendly The Thai restaurant serves favorites that you would not expect in a small city. Service is attentive, warm and friendly. The spring rolls and the orange chicken I ordered were served hot and on time. The Blue Orchid is easily visible on Main St. in Rangeley and is a great place to stop Thai food at a reasonable price.
Today we got take-out from Blue Orchid. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming! The food was outstanding; so fresh and scrumptious!!! We will definitely be back!!! We ordered the spring rolls which were delicious! The pineapple rice was outstanding! The Pad Thai was out of this world!! The spicy drunken noodles was made to perfection!!! We finished with a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie; delicious!!! What a wonderful find in Rangeley Maine!!!
