So start with breakfast your choice cookies and Gravy or pancakes or BOTH! their pancakes were delicious. Then we had enough time to see everything they had, really child-friendly things. Our guide Ken was full of information and was funny. After the tour we came back to the dinner show. I had received the brisket, it was great that my friend got the chicken and it was moist and not dried. Their show was great with amazing singers and they were joking around. You could say that everyone here enjoyed their job, even to the little girl who took dinner tickets. My only complaints and 1 were from her control lunch at the state lodge the staff couldn't maintain with the food, and I know that many people don't get much to eat, and that's why we spent a lot of time trying to eat and we couldn't look around the lodge. The other thing I feel was not enough time for me. We drove back to Sylvan Lake so we had no time to look around. Ken offered to make pictures of us in the cathedral Spires and he looked in a picture of him and I did not notice later and it made me laugh. My four young children enjoyed it and worth the money.
Our family had an explosion! Delicious food and great entertainment. The whole staff was amazing. Shout to Herman to show us how to make rope and tell us great stories! And String Bean stole the show!
The meal and dinner show were fantastic! We liked the chuckwagon experience with tin plates and cups, serving line, and group seating. We thought the entertainers were phenomenal--great singers and musicians--and they really kept the crowd involved! Lots of interaction. The show went by really fast!
Decent meal, get the beef brisket, great little musical show! The group really gets into it and obviously enjoys what they do. The fiddle player was amazing, one of the best I've seen. Worth checking out and experiencing a local specialty.
Located on the Dances with Wolves filming set, the dinner and a show was fantastic. Arrive between 5-6pm to tour the set, shops, and workshops. 6:15pm head inside for a delicious, simple dinner of bbq, beans, baked potato, apple sauce, roll, and lemonade, coffee, or tea. The cake was a bummer so dip it in that applesauce! The show was great, the music and hosts were a great time.
