Huhot Mongolian Grill - Rapid City

This restaurant has a great concept: fill a bowl with its choice of noodles, vegetables and protein food, and sauces, and they will stir it for them on a grill. if you want, you can add rice, fruits, chow my noodles and/or cocos flakes to the finished product. for their first trip there I recommend asking for the budget list. they learn for example that the offered noodles, only the pad thai noodles are vegan. the first station was all flesh, so I skipped it. was happy to see the meat separated from the sweet station. the leisure station included black borons and tofu. Unfortunately the tofu is not organic and probably contains gvo, so I skipped it. the leisure station also includes brokkoli, napkins, swirling carrots, small pineapple cubes, mung bohnensprossen, cilantro and much more. many vegan options for a stirring frit. the last food station is the sauce station. some of the sauces that appear vegan from the listed ingredients are not vegan. this includes the erdnus sauce that contains only the vegan ingredients, but not the fish sauce and milk. Make sure that the sauce they want is marked with a w for vegetarian, and then check the ingredients list to ensure that it is vegan. I used garlic, sesame oil and lemon juice. I have skipped the non-organic soy sauce as it contains gvo. after adding the sauces is the next stop of the grill. tell the cook that they are vegan, and he will clean a section of the grill for them, it will buckle for their eating with 2 spatulas, and 2 more spatulas for stirring their eating that no other food will touch. the chefs and the waiting staff are very nice and helpful. The employees had no idea what was vegan, but they liked our request, cleaned the grill from all other orders and separated after we made vegan choices.

We were at the restaurant for thirty minutes before we were able to identify our server, so we resorted to asking for things from whoever passed by until our designated server showed themselves. Once we were able to connect with our server, the service was excellent!

The food is subpar as the meat that is provided for choice at the self-serve bar is dry and unappetizing after receiving it back once cooked. It's apparent the location is older with outdated decor. The management and server encountered at this time were the bright spots of the visit as their customer service was far exceeding the atmosphere and food quality provided.

Waitress tended to forget about us quite a bit never asked if we wanted anything else until we were ready for our check. , and got charged dinner rates even though we were there before dinner times.
