Typical German but great eating. a bit expensive, but it doesn't matter to pay a bit extra for a fine meal. service excellent. I'd go back. had ramparts, great! beer, since quite Germany is really good and desserts were special.
This is a family-run Greek restaurant with well-made Greek dishes. small and pleasant with good service.
They never know what they could get at cedrics and had excellent restaurants experience as well as very bad. I have eaten in cedrics in the last 20 years and last night was the absolute worst: very slow service from a waitress. which was obviously not professionally trained (which they would expect in a higher restaurant in Germany) and that eating was very moderate. I also had absolutely perfect service and excellent dishes in past, but it is really hit or miss. we were last night a party of 7 and the restaurant was not crowded. it took 1 1/2 hours until our food arrived and the waitress never came by to let us know or apologize for the length of time. my skinned mushrooms were gummy and I only got a part of my meal. the destined meal of my man was poisonously salty. when we ordered dessert, the first arrived very fast, while a second order lasted 30 minutes to arrive. the waitress wasn't there when we needed something and it took too long to show up again. the only reason I go on to this restaurant is that my 90-year-old mother likes it and has beautiful memories of family events in this restaurant. I don't want to go back.
I was on a business trip in Ratingen and a colleague of mine took me to Cedric's. I had the goat cheese: Gratinierte Ziegenkäse-Crostinins which was excellent. I wish I could have it more often : The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very nice...and welcoming.
