That's when eveything fell into place:Staff super sweet.Boulabaisse for late lunch...Walking the enchanted forrested creek valley deeply cut into the limestone reef.Moved into the magically crafted guest rooms behind the mill... the vast shower made from local river rocks!... handlayed wooden floors; the four-poster-bed... by now we are purring considering this detailed romantic setting. On we went to get us a rowing boat on the Ruhr river in Kettwig (brisk 15inuted drive)20h30 back for an asparagus combo... omg!The Kaiserstuhl Burgunder to go with it...Night fell and the firefies come out to leadus back to our guest room...... a quiet and restfull romantic night...before at 7nish we get up to birds songs, decide to walk the valley again.back just before staring the brunch buffet loaded with German typical and international delicatessen. We couldnt be more delighted. You need proof?! Well, we decided to acquire the bed and one of the pictures on the wall...The shower was not for sale ;-)
Just a 30 min. walk from Ratingen Mitte past the Haus Zum Haus and into the wood trails. After a walk, you're ready to dit down for a cold beer or mint drink, plus something to eat. The patio terrace is very crowded in warm weather and the atmosphere is friendly. Small children run around in the nearby playground and the sound of warer running in the stream is soothing. Pizzas were good and so are sandwiches for lunch. Reservations should b made for dinner though as it's busy.Stay and linger and enjoy the whole scene.
Great service great food and resonable prices. Also great location for a walk after lunch. Ideal at all times of the year.
Great place, lovely to be in the nature, really nice pizza, cake etc if you buy it outside and also the restaurant menu ,(inside) is really nice. Nice playground and possibility to go for walks in the nature.
I just visited Liebevoll a few days ago. I was with a couple of friends who were hosting me while I visited Germany. They had taken me to the Ruhr Museum in Essen and we left when it was time for dinner. They said there is a restaurant we would like to take you to. I thought maybe it was maybe somewhere close by Essen, but after driving for 30 minutes I thought where are we going? This place must be special. When we arrived at Liebevoll I understood. My friends had indeed brought me to a special place. The restaurant is set in a small, cozy, valley in the woods near a stream and a train track. It is picturesque. This is one of the places you wish you knew about when you want a special experience. The service and food were very good as well, but the atmosphere will capture your attention above all.
