Local Unverpackt - Ratingen

A nice combination of a Café and a store selling unpackaged and zero waste products, such as bottles, soap, deodorant, shampoo, environmentally friendly sponges, spices, nuts, fruits and vegetables. The shop itself is kind of hidden, but it is quite big and very cute!

My favorite business. I am there almost daily and enjoy the great vegan selection. From muesli, yeast flakes to coffee with oat milk and vegan particles.

I find the store very successful, a good assortment, both for food and household goods such as detergents, razors, soaps etc. The owners are very friendly and the cafe cozy. All meals there are vegan.

At first sight the shop appears relatively small due to the angled construction, but has a lot of choice, only the fruit and vegetable selection could be a little wider. There are also many cosmetic products, cleaning agents, bottled oat milk and some items I have not seen before, such as chick peas in chocolate or liquid shampoo for bottling. The staff is super relaxed and helpful and the cafe is very cosy. The cakes/pastries were all vegan and the coffee can be ordered with oat milk. On fridays you can also enjoy a vegan lunch.
