Contribuisci feedbackMy husband, my elderly father, and I visited the Applebee's in Raytown, MO, at 6:30 PM last night for dinner. We were seated after a brief wait, but after 30 minutes, our orders still hadn't been taken, even though several tables that arrived after us had already placed their orders. Frustrated, we decided to leave and went to the Hy-Vee restaurant, where we not only enjoyed delicious food but also received excellent service in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to Applebee's, which had previously been one of our favorite spots.
I recently visited this restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner, and I was surprised to see the manager handling most of the orders and serving food almost entirely on her own. While my pasta was slightly overcooked and had a rubbery texture, I was really impressed by the boneless wings and the delicious tropical cocktail, which was also quite large!
We waited 10 minutes to be seated, even though we were the only group there at the time. After another 10 minutes, we finally placed our order, but it took 30 minutes for us to receive our appetizer. After that, we didn't get anything else. Waiting an hour for just an appetizer and two waters is simply unacceptable.
I ordered online Quesadilla Burger with NO LETTUCE OR PICO DE GALLO. But my burger had shredded lettuce and pico de gallo that can't be removed without scrapping off the cheese a sauce. Can't eat this. I ordered some pink for my burger, but how was this done when the outside of the patty was burnt, crispy a d hard?
This place doesn't even rate a star. We waited forever for each and every little thing we got. The food and service was subpar. Do not recommend at all!!
