The Turn Row Bistro - Rayville

I visited this restaurant for the first time on October 26, 2018. The waitress informed us that they serve shrimp and grits, which is said to be among the best in the state—ranked 8th according to a website that highlighted the top 10 restaurants. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the specific site. My wife and I both decided to try the shrimp and grits, and in my opinion, they lived up to the reputation. The meal was fresh and hot, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were quite good for the price. While the cost is slightly higher than what I usually spend on lunch, it felt justified for the quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety, including a small buffet, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. The restaurant is located in downtown Rayville. We arrived shortly after lunchtime, so the place was nearly empty. We received excellent service, and our waitress was very pleasant. I would definitely choose to dine here again during my next visit to the Rayville area.

The food was overpriced and didn’t taste that good, which explains why it went out of business.
