Rocky's Pizza - Reading

I’m originally from the Midwest. I grew up eating taco pizza. I haven’t found it on any menus for about 4 years. So I was surprised to see the pizza place around the corner made taco pizza. Let me just say- it was PHENOMENAL. It was nice to have a little slice (pun intended) of my childhood again. For a moment- I was back in 1998 playing Mortal Combat on the arcade machine at the local pizza place in Des Moines. It won’t be the last time I get their taco pizza. I also got garlic cheesy bread for my family. It didn’t last 3 minutes. We all inhaled the garlic cheesy bread. My only regret- not ordering more cheesy bread. Overall- this place is great. I’ll definitely become a regular. Thanks for the nostalgia.

Hoagie was wonderful. They actually listened when I ordered it with 'a little ' mayo. Seems simple yet so many places turn a little mayo into extra, globs of gross mayo

Pizza is ok. Sandwiches are better. 2nd shift is better cooked food than 1st shift. (For some odd reason, even if it's the same ppl working their all day, every day)

Manny was so polite and professional. The welcoming atmosphere in the city made my day. The food... amazing and priced reasonably.
