Tony's Of West Reading

This is the best cheesesteak I've had in years. It can't be compared to a Philadelphia cheesesteak because these are a hundred times better, and they're only 10 minutes from my house. I absolutely love it!

At 1:13 PM, I heard the owner calling my name from the window several times, indicating my pizza was ready. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear him because I was in my car with the music on, waiting until the time he originally told me. When I got out of the car, I mentioned that he startled me when he yelled my name the third time. He responded, “Well, I was yelling your name loudly three times and you didn’t hear me. Have a nice day!” before slamming the window in my face. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or if he’s just generally rude, but either way, it was disappointing. I’ve ordered from here multiple times before, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.

I don't often write reviews, especially for food establishments, but my recent visit to Tony's Pizza in West Reading drives me to share my experience. Although I usually enjoy their food, the owner's behavior was so shocking that I will never order from them again. Without any provocation, the owner slammed the window in my cousin's face and told us to go to another pizza place in Reading. Such disrespectful and unprofessional conduct was completely unjustified and left me bewildered and offended. It seemed like the owner was having a bad day and chose to take it out on innocent customers, which is absolutely unacceptable. Running a business means treating customers with respect and courtesy, regardless of personal challenges. While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, that doesn't excuse such rudeness. The owner's lack of regard for customer service is evident in this incident. This experience has completely soured my perception of the place, and I won’t be returning. If you're looking for a pleasant dining experience with courteous service, I strongly advise steering clear of Tony's Pizza in West Reading. There are plenty of excellent pizza places in the area that appreciate their customers and create a positive atmosphere. Choose to support businesses that treat you right; you deserve better than what Tony's Pizza provides.
