Zucca Hospitality! Isaac is the most wonderful host; delicious food, wine and fantastic service. Very recommended.
So far I have only ordered a trip, but it always seems to be packed for dinner. The food is amazing and the workers I met are incredibly nice. I look forward to the food soon
The owner is a very nice guy. The restaurant is very clean. The food was delicious. Portion was enough to feed me for dinner and lunch the next day. The only thing I didn't like was the waiter assistant on a phone while I showed up to take plates off the table. She almost took a plate where we worked. She was on the phone all the time. I think it is disrespectful for your customers.
Unbelievable! I'm one who never writes reviews, but it wouldn't be a tragedy. Some of me didn't want me to keep this place as secret as possible, selfish. Unfortunately, I cannot help myself and would do a service to the Reading community (and incredible owners and waiters! Okay, for the ?review? We were in town to visit my mom and decided to come here to a whim. It is a tiny hole in the wall and everyone with children knows that not always is the best choice to eat! We decided to go anyway - without reservation - and we were lucky to get a table. (Although I would recommend a reservation! We sat immediately and welcomed the friendly waitress Caitlin. She took our drinks orders and kept the 27293 questions from our 7 year old with a smile. We ordered a few appetizers to start, bruschetta and calamari. Both delicious. When it came time to order our meals, our son asked if they were Mac and Cheese (duh). Our waitress, Caitlin, said they didn't have it on the menu, but they could absolutely make a version of Mac and cheese. He was enthusiastic about this and one side of meatballs. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with linguini. My husband ordered the Shrimps Veneziana and my mom the Pappardelle Bolognese. Each individual dish was a Our very picky son was very happy and honest, I would have eaten his dish as my meal and was more than happy. It was so.freaking.good!! Simply some of the best Italian food I have eaten in a long, long time. We were pleasantly surprised. Not only food, but also drinks. My mom had a kind of apple martini- I wish I could remember the name, but again, incredible. My husband ordered some old fashions that weren't on the menu, but they beat it out of the park. Between all this tasty was a very fidgety and chatty 7 years old. The staff and come to find out owners, were not only attentive, courteous and friendly, but also super patient and amazing with our son. The owner was so humble. He took the time from his very busy evening to stop and show our son how to fold some great napkins. Again. He let him take a look into the kitchen. They even unlocked their breakfast restaurant next door, so he could take a look and bump around. I mean, what?! Our Kiddo is certainly not shy and we refer to him as the Mini Mayor? as everyone in the city knows him, but that was the next level. Some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Delicious food and incredible service, what could you ask for more? But WAIT! F R E limoncello recordings on Saturday. What are you doing? Do yourself a favor and GO EAT HERE! NOW! You will not be disappointed!!!
