I had no Udon noodles for one because, so it wasn't hard to choose. they were perfectly cooked! soft, tasty, rich, nice touch with the crab fast service, not the most attentive but most effective! I was not impressed by the table quality, either too old to be properly cleaned or should be replaced by a newer one, but I was simply unhappy, one of the old style tables, not the Chinese good looking: not sure how the English Victorian painting decoration in this place, preferably the wall with Japanese art! I tried her Chinese tee (teabag, it was okay. dessert, why not? So I decided to try the bananenfritter with sirup, who was very tasty! definitely again!
This restaurant offers a mix of Malaysian and Thai cuisine. The spicy dish I ordered was deliciously spicy and a generous portion. The prices are affordable, with single dishes ranging from £4.50 to £7.50. The noodle dishes were large and tasty. The service was quick, and my meal arrived relatively fast, even though the restaurant was only half full. The flavors were excellent, and I look forward to coming back to try some of the Malaysian-inspired dishes, like the ssambalfish.
We really enjoyed our meal here so much that I returned the following week to lunch. the Singapore style flat noodles (cho fan? were delicious, like the laksa suppae (also huge). the workers are all very sweet and do their best to fulfill their desires.
I love this place. Yeah, the plates don't all fit together. Yeah, it doesn't look like that. but eating is great, I mean really good for the price, the service good and they use fresh ingredients! the lady who owns it and is about 70) is a real jewel! she makes the visit even better.
The Beijing Noodle House used to offer excellent value for money with their tasty noodle dishes and generous portions. My favorite is their stir-fry hor fun with beef, always well-prepared. They also have affordable rice dishes and a delicious toffee banana dessert that is not too heavy, with sinfully sweet toffee complementing crispy fried banana. Unfortunately, the restaurant was recently burned down in a fire and is currently under renovation. It is uncertain if they plan to reopen, but I hope they do.
