The service was fantastic with a delightful waiter, and all the dishes were amazing!

I have visited LSB for both lunch and dinner, for both business and pleasure, numerous times over the years, and have always been impressed with the delicious food, top-notch service, and inviting atmosphere. Owned by well-known chef Paul Clerehugh, who also owns the fantastic Crooked Billet pub in Stoke Row, the menu highlights locally sourced and seasonal ingredients that are expertly prepared and served. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I dined at this restaurant with my colleagues and enjoyed a pleasant meal. I had the scallops, which were not amazing to be honest, but the steak was delicious. For dessert, I had a meringue. My colleagues highly recommend the cheese board and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Overall, it is worth a visit, but the prices are a bit high.

If you come here for one thing, order the caramel covered toffee. I am from the States and travel to Reading for business a few times a year. This restaurant is by far the best place to either relax after a long day of meetings or spend some quality time with colleagues and customers.
