Tried the first time. Best thing is the portion size of the large COD fish however was very oily. The battered chicken sausage was awesome. Didn't try thr bubble tea, maybe next time
This new restaurant is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is lively, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I had the fish and chips and also tried the burgers, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. They even offer discounts for NHS staff, which is a nice touch. Thank you, Mr. Chipi, for this wonderful experience!
The staff is incredibly friendly, and the portions are large—despite having a big appetite, I still struggled to finish my meal! Overall, I think it offers great value for the money. The chips were perfectly cooked, not too greasy, and wonderfully fluffy, just as they should be. The only thing I didn't try was the dessert. I will definitely be coming back again!
This is a really great restaurant located at the end of Oxford Road in the city center, with a Cantonese-Taiwanese influence. They are known for their popular bubble tea and trendy egg waffles. Just like Anthony Bourdain suggested, it's worth trying everything wisely at least once. I indulged in pineapple fritters, bananas, deep-fried Mars bars, and a spam fritter — all cooked to order and served hot, fresh, and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the thin and crispy batter around the spam, as it wasn't thick or doughy. The pineapple was sweet, but not overly so. I’m planning to work my way through the menu as I continue to visit. Enjoy it all in moderation!
