Rented the restaurant of the sportsman for my son's birthday party, It was a fantastic afternoon! The space was big enough to comfortably host 30 guests, the staff were very accommodating and welcoming! Overall a great experience.

Seniors lunch is fabulous value, £5.42 for two courses. Small choice but good dishes. Excellent service from friendly bar staff. Not too crowded. Really recommend.

The Seniors’ lunch menu at the pub was superb and excellent value for money. It exceeded our expectations: chips of the best we’ve eaten and the apple crumble delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Great pub for food and drinks. Crispy wings, tasty garlic mushrooms, juicy burgers and so much more. Nobody in our party had a bad thing to say. The staff Claire, Steven and Alison in the kitchen were all amazing. Good drinks selection, a variety of draught beers and ciders and a good choice of spirits. Bring your family, the atmosphere is great for it.
