I recently had lunch at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. **Meal Information** - **Price per person:** ₱200–₱400 **Food Rating:** ★☆☆☆☆ The food was disappointing, and I would rate it a 1. The dish I tried was Buttered Shrimp, which I’ve heard good things about, but it failed to meet my expectations. **Service Rating:** ★★☆☆☆ The service was slightly better, earning a rating of 2. While the staff was friendly, they seemed overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the lunch crowd. **Atmosphere Rating:** ★☆☆☆☆ The atmosphere was uninviting, which I would rate as a 1. It was noisy and lacked the ambiance that makes a dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I couldn't recommend this restaurant based on my visit. If you’re looking for a quality lunch experience, you might want to consider other options.
Nek-neks is a charming and unpretentious carinderia (street restaurant) that specializes in fresh seafood and delectable pork belly. The dining experience is a paluto style, where you can choose fresh seafood from local market vendors, and Nek-neks will prepare it to your liking. Their adobong pusit (squid adobo) is a standout dish—truly the best around. The garlic butter shrimp is also outstanding, along with a variety of crabs and lobsters. Situated right by the sea and the markets, the seafood here is incredibly affordable, allowing you to enjoy a feast of exquisite delicacies without overspending. If you find yourself in Real, Quezon, be sure to stop by Nek-neks—you won't be disappointed!
Slow service. Rude service personnel. Squid was overcooked and took too long. End products were rubbery and difficult to chew. Inihaw na pusit literally means iihawin lang, walang timpla whatsoever. Had to return first set of spoon and fork because they weren't washed properly.
Ita a good place where you can request seafoods and they will cook it for you. .
