The bao and the crispy rice salmon roll were the saving grace because the majority of the sushi was really bad. Not to mention they are understaffed, had one woman waiting on every table upstairs ~15) tables upstairs so everything was slow. Big no fly on my sushi radar
Not good. The sushi was not good. Ordered several rolls and unhappy with all but the crispy rice tuna. The soda was flat and it took 20 minutes for us to get waters.They must be under staffed they had one person for the entire room. The runners didnt know table numbers so they would wait for the lone waitress to escort them to the table after she had to recheck the order in the computer because she has so many tables she couldn't remember orders correctly. The restaurant itself is not inviting, the carpets had a visible layer of gray dust where they didnt vacuum. Just an extremely disappointing and very expensive experience. Will not be returning.
I frequented the Red Bank location for years and had so many spectacular meals and made so many priceless memories there. I recently visited the Red Bank location (where I have probably eaten 5 or 6 other times before) and can report that the standard of quality is the same as in Sea Bright, which is to say it's amazing. I always enjoyed getting the Crazy Tuna roll but a few years ago I discovered the Rice Crispy Jalapeno Tuna Roll which is unbelievable and a must-try. Yumi never disappoints!Parking: Plenty of parking in Red Bank.
Food took over an hour and half on a weeknight. Everyone else in the restaurant was also waiting just as long. When we finally got our food it was the wrong order. Meanwhile they had like a hundred people come in and pick up take out. Pure chaos.
Incredible food! Everything was extremely tasty and rich in flavor. Exquisite choice of ingredients met with spot on freshness.
