Raley's - Red Bluff

The service was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Although there were several orders being handled at once, the wait time was understandable. The vegetables were fresh, and the meat was as well. However, the bread was slightly grainy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would likely give it another try.

Is it me, or is the deli section department the slowest moving, worst customer service, poorest body language, most miserable group of people to have ever sliced lunch meat? They act like their job is hell and they wish they were somewhere else. I'll drive to Redding or Anderson before I'll ever deal with the Red Bluff Raleys deli again. After 4 years of crappy service, Sprouts is worth the drive.

Second time in two weeks we made a phone order for fried chicken and when we went to get it the girl in the deli dept had no idea. She says it happens a lot. Why can't Raleys employ people who want to do their job.

How do I even start. Just look at my sandwich. Jessica made it. Never again. Please take Jessica out of the sandwich department. We love Raley's sandwiches but not when Jessica makes it.

I'm not going to say the Red Bluff Raley's is anything exceptional, but in terms of Raley's stores you could do a lot worse. They have the full stock and selection that brings me to Raley's and it's a relatively painless in and out experience because it is a small town versus a busy city center. We came in to buy supplies for a trip we were making up north. The store is a little dated think mid 90's decor vibe, but I never go to grocery stores for the interior design. I like how the produce section is centrally located. I liked their selection of beers and the bakery. The lady who checked us out was also very friendly and helpful. That's just what you look for in a small town store. Like any Raley's though, it's pricier than your other grocery stores. That's because their shelves focus on top brand names. If you want to spend less for more I say go to WInco, otherwise this is your best option.
