Prairie Donair Dewdney Ave. Regina

This was my first visit, and I had an amazing experience. I ordered the Spicy PD Signature, and it was delicious—just the right amount of spice and packed with flavor. The portion of meat was generous, and everything was wrapped well, so there were no leaks. I highly recommend this place!

This is a fantastic restaurant offering an excellent variety of wraps, donairs, breakfast options, and much more. There's truly something for everyone. If you're in the mood for something a little different, I highly recommend trying the Zac's special—its butter chicken wrap is absolutely delicious!

I discovered this hidden gem as I drove into Gasoline Alley in Red Deer, located on the left side. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of options available. They offer a Donair for every Donair enthusiast, along with many sauce choices. The vegetables appeared fresh as well. We tried the East Coast Donair, and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Red Deer.

I opted for the Create Your Own salad, which is one of the more expensive choices on the menu, but I absolutely loved it! I chose lamb, which was tasty, though it seemed to be a blend rather than pure lamb meat. The staff member was friendly and even gave me a little extra lamb. It was nice to have a conversation with them since the place wasn't busy at the time. There’s a great selection of sauces to pick from, and I appreciated that there was no music playing—definitely a bonus for me. Plus, it’s halal! A suggestion for the restaurant: I would love to see spinach as an option in the future. I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is my go-to lunch spot when I'm in Red Deer. I wish their service was a bit faster, but the flavor is consistently excellent.
