We were in Amphora a few times and are never disappointed! The portions are large to ensure that you are hungry. Your selection of salad is served with the main course, unless you ask it to eat first most Europeans salad with...the main course) The roast lamb is amazing! Keep the good work Nick Sakkali's founder of It's All Greek To Me), we look forward to you back!
On Sunday, 28. July my spouse and I went to Amphora for the first time, a relatively new Greek restaurant in Red Deer. Our waitress was obviously new to her job, so let's not comment on the service.... she tried very hard and everyone...has for the first time to start what they do. Regarding the decoration in Amphora, it is a very attractive room (the old Dino 's for those who know it), but my taste buds do not appreciate decoration. We started our meal with a dill salad, more precisely it showed up with what we chose for our main course. It was basically a very tired garden salad and the only evidence of the dill was by looking for it, there certainly wasn't enough to cost. We chose the appetizer plate as our main.... good food, much of it and very well presented on the plate. They advertise the best lamb in Red Deer, but neither the lamb, throat, Dolmades or anything else we ordered, measured by what we always get in our favorite Greek restaurant on the hill we will continue to protect.
My University cohort came here for a celebratory end of term meal.
Went to The Eatery to celebrate a friend's birthday.
