Blue Sage Kitchen - Red Deer

The burger and fries were great. The place itself was odd and disappointing. The tables are small bistro tables. The service was poor. Watched the young girl undo her ponytail and flip her hair around to redo it and then brought me my food. I think they have good intentions there. We did enjoy the food. Being handed canned pop, and food in red plastic baskets was a bit off putting. With a few changes to the atmosphere, service and increasing menu choices, they will do good. I wish them all the best as Red Deer needs more non-franchised food options.

Although this restaurant spot is kinda smack in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, it is a perfect gem near my workplace! The burgers are excellent, fries and onions rings crisp, hot, and tasty! The service is also excellent and oh so friendly..I'll keep going back and I can't wait to try their take home meals too!

Onion rings, onion rings did I mention the onion rings? They are homemade and absolutely delicious. We both had burger combos and they were hot, delicious and filling. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger special and I had the Q burger. OM Goodness the Q burger had sauted onions, BBQ sauce, and so much homemade goodness friend into it. The fries were crispy with a delicious coating. The special was 9.95 and mine was only slightly more. The server was so friendly and was very attentive.The restaurant is small but cozy.Love supporting local and this is in a neighbourhood we wouldn't normally visit but for this restaurant we will definitely be back!They serve Chapman's ice cream in large portions and small prices.Do yourself a flavour favour and try out the restauratn and have one of the daily specials.PS they also do some take home meals at excellent prices.

We were recently informed about Blue Sage kitchen and tried it out. They made us some really good burgers. The best burger in Red Deer is at Jose Jose Latin restaurant but Blue Sage's burger was excellent. We will definitely go back again for more. Well Done Blue Sage and we hope to eat your excellent food for along time to come. Congratulations on your opening and really tasty dishes.

Was a very nice place. Home made burgers with a great selection of toppings. The staff was really nice. We'll definitely go back to try the other meals they offer. They also have take home meals to heat yourself. Please check website for weekly meals and specials.Thank you.
