Contribuisci feedbackThe cashiers are incredibly slow, making the checkout process the slowest I've encountered in any grocery store. They should definitely think about adding self-checkout options.
I frequently notice that when I approach the register, the staff members are more focused on chatting with one another than on the customers. After I ask for the Coop number, they quickly resume their conversation. I've also overheard them making jokes at the expense of other staff and customers, which I find extremely rude and unprofessional. For example, when a customer came to the express checkout, the cashier treated him dismissively for not understanding that it was an express lane. After he left for the regular checkout, she laughed about him with a colleague who was assisting with bagging groceries. This behavior is quite disappointing.
The service was outstanding, and the staff was amazing. They also offered a great selection of sauces to choose from.
I contacted management through email to share my concerns, and they promised that they take this issue seriously and that similar behavior wouldn't happen again. However, I have not received any follow-up response, which suggests a lack of concern on their part. It's 2023; we need to improve.
I stopped to buy some fruit from the outdoor stand, but a young woman told me I needed to go inside to pay. When I walked in, the store was packed, and there were long lines at all the cash registers. Frustrated, I chose to leave the fruit behind. It kind of defeats the purpose of having an outdoor fruit stand if you have to go inside just for a small bag of produce. They should really have someone outside to handle cash payments.
