Memphis Blues Bbq House - Red Deer

Catfish and smoked meat platter was really good! Was a real treat.

Literally just returned from Memphis,TN and this place put the bbq we had there to shame.

Ordered the shrimp Po’boy which was served on a non-traditional and very stale hamburger bun. The shrimp faired no better, deep fried in in an extremely dry corn bread batter. Not worth eating.

I'm in Red Deer a couple of times a month for work and I've been meaning to pop by this place for a while.I finally made it in today, and was blown away by everything!The jambalaya was to die for! I highly suggest going with the housemade coleslaw as one of your sides.The waitress was a wealth of information and made some spot on suggestions. She recommended the key lime pie because it not only was DELICIOUS but also made in house and I loved every bite. It came with this delicious caramel drizzle that I wish I could order an extra bowl of.I will definitely be returning to explore the rest of the menu the next time I'm in Red Deer!

Food was meh. Pricey for what it tastes like. Brisket was good. Just that though. The bread was disgusting and plain. Fries are icky. The cornbread was so bland... Toss some honey and jalapeños in there. Service was good. For the price I don't think we will be back for what we got.
