Made a reservation for New Years Eve. Table, food and service was great

I made a reservation online and mentioned that it was our 38th anniversary dinner. When I asked the server about the changes in the restaurant, noting that it used to have tablecloths and proper linen, she told me they only use those for special occasions now. I couldn't believe it. After celebrating our anniversary here for about 12 years, I can confidently say we won’t be returning. The new ownership hasn't improved anything; the only constant seems to be the high prices. I don't mind paying more for a good meal, but definitely not for the awful food we received.

Had a great relaxing diner, the bruschetta was wonderful, had the Spinach risotto and veal schnitzel, and everything was just great. Only complaint was they had run out of the death by chocolate , but the gluten free midnight mint dessert was good too

We arrived and were promptly seated which was good. However it was right beside a table of 10 loud people. We asked to move to a quieter table of which there were many as the restaurant was half empty. We were told no! My husband had to threaten to leave before they would move us. Our food did come in a timely fashion, but was only subpar. The vegetables looked and tasted like they had been cooked the day before and the rice was cold and clumpy and also tasted old. My husband ordered the stuffed potato and was not offered any condiments. Overall very unimpressed!

I was a bit disappointed to see the menu has changed. We came specifically for the curried mussels, only to find they are no longer available. I really hope you bring them back, as I wrote a review on TripAdvisor a few months ago praising their uniqueness and taste. No one else in Red Deer offers them the same way!
