I went to purchase some treats to enjoy during our visit to the park. I ordered a variety of sweets, but unfortunately they all seemed dry and lacked juiciness. Laddoos are usually my favorite, but I was not impressed with them on that particular day. I suggest increasing the syrup or ensuring they don't dry out. Sorry guys.
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. The staff member was rude, impolite, and seemed to not care about my order. I asked for three boxes of laddoo, but the staff member did not inquire about the specific type I wanted and immediately started bagging them. When I mentioned that I wanted two varieties, he became upset and frustrated as if I was inconveniencing him. It seems like the management is unaware of how he is driving customers away. I used to frequent this restaurant every couple of months and spend an average of £40-£50, but I have decided never to return. I have also recommended to my friends and family to dine elsewhere.
Ambala is without doubt the premium for Asian sweets and desserts. This is a very big store itself. All your typical favourites like gulab jamun, barfi, ladoo etc. The nimki they do the small and the big ones are amazing and a favourite with tea. They also do a good chana chaat. The samosas are okish a little bland. The new baklava boxes they do are really nice too. I have never had an issue with service from staff personally. Only thing I would add is that it can be extremely busy during Ramadan and on Eid as can be expected.
Tasty and delicious. price is acceptable and the people are very friendly and helpful. A great recommendation.
