The George - Redbridge

The restaurant has been nicely renovated. My husband enjoyed the cod and chips, while some of my Mixed Grill was a bit dry and overcooked. The portions were good-sized. The service was a bit slow. The beer and wine were both delicious. Overall, it was reasonably priced. We will definitely come back again.

This was a last minute visit on a Sunday it was fairly quiet. We had a combination of pub food and roasts and they were a good pub standard with fair service. Nothing wow but nothing awful but wouldn't be my first choice.

Vaping is no longer allowed but it would appear that smoking weed/dope is fine as long as it's in the toilet.

Decent amount of drinks and some nice ales . Good for watching the football and having some food without spending to much money .

Wonderful place, friendly staff, great prices. What more could you want? The George has always been a pub that you feel comfortable going in to because there are people of all ages and you get a warm welcome every time.
