The Priory Fish Shop

Suggest you change your advertised closing time of 8pm. Nothing left was the abrupt answer at 7.35 while 3-4 members of staff were laughing about some joke behind the counter. How long does it take to fry fish and chips btw? Less than 25 mins? Very poor customer service. If the closing time was 7.30 I wouldn’t have wasted my time visiting or visited earlier. Never again.

Good quality food.Freshly cooked,and reasonable price.and a good selection of items on the menu.They followed all the Covid safety guidelines too.

Had lovely fish chips mushy peas .Fish was a cooked beautiful and was very large.Chips best I've eaten for a long time.Delivery service is brilliant

Poor service during the COVID 19 outbreak. Big sign in window promises delivery. However, no delivery ever available, always too busy apparently. Huge queue outside the shop and customers left standing for hours whilst telephone orders are assembled. I’ve eaten here for years, but not impressed by the way the new owners are running the place. Sad to say I wouldn’t recommend on current performance.
