Maxwell's Downtown Eatery - Redding

I am visiting from out of town and staying at the Americana Modern Hotel in Redding for the night (which is an awesome hotel, by the way). I decided to try Maxwell's, which is located right down the street. I ordered the blue cheese bacon avocado burger, watermelon pale ale, and onion rings. Everything was outstanding! I highly recommend it.

I tried the mac n cheese my granddaughter couldn't finish and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich which was amazing and that came with a fully loaded salad. Plenty to eat or take home. The service was good too.

Love the atmosphere and have some of the best beers on tap in town. Great food

The lovely barmaid called ‘Cayton’ asked me for ID because she thought I was 21. I’m actually mid 40’s ! That, although unprecedented and flattering, gets a 5 star rating from now on . Congrats Cayton, you are the first and hopefully not the last .
