Smokin' Joe’s Bbq - Redding

Fast, Friendly, and Delicious. I recently moved to Red Bluff and have been on the hunt for good food from local restaurants. I tried the combo meal with ribs and tri tip, baked beans, garlic fries, and texas toast. Hands down the best food I have tried locally yet. Big portions, screaming good taste, tender meats, garlic fries are a garlic lovers wish come true, baked beans are the best I have ever had (pretty sure there is pulled pork in them), the BBQ sauce is to die for, and the garlic toast is the cherry on top. The service was so quick, super friendly, and polite. You wouldn't even have known it was busy if you didn't see all the people. I have found my favorite BBQ spot in all of California. Thanks for a great lunch!

When we pulled over to enjoy our lunch, we were pleasantly surprised. The meat was not only delicious but cooked to perfection—juicy and full of flavor, not at all dry. The barbecue sauce was excellent; it had the right balance and wasn’t overly sweet. While the sandwiches are on the pricier side, they’re so generous that we could easily have two meals from just one sandwich, which makes it well worth it. We'll be enjoying the other half of our sandwiches for dinner tonight, and that's definitely a win in my book! The restaurant was clean and lively, filled with customers, and as I mentioned earlier, the staff was very friendly. The photo included shows half of my sandwich with fries.

I enjoyed a fantastic pulled pork sandwich. The bread was delightful as well. The service was friendly, and the portion sizes were generous, with delicious sides available on the menu. I can't wait to try their Smoked Stack sandwich next!

I haven't experienced BBQ this delicious since my time in Texas. Joe's southern heritage is evident in everything from the competition-quality, fall-off-the-bone ribs to his warm hospitality. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend trying the sweet potato side—it’s amazing. This has definitely become a new favorite of mine, and I can't wait to return and sample more dishes!

We stopped for coffee on our way home from camping and decided to try the BBQ restaurant in the same parking lot for lunch. I ordered the smoked beef dip (as shown in the picture) and shared it with my husband. We also got burgers for the kids, which were large and delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly as well. We're really glad we made the stop, and we definitely plan to return on a Thursday to try the tri-tip nachos!
