This takeaway restaurant was excellent. The pricing was very reasonable and the delivery was faster than anticipated. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The food arrived hot and the delivery person was very friendly.

The food at this restaurant is simply incredible! I have not had a negative experience yet. The owner is wonderful - so polite and always willing to chat with customers. I order from here frequently and always see him when he delivers my food. He is a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Kook Runningz.

Ordered 2 jerk chicken meals with rice and veg to be delivered to my house, took over an hour to come which we didn’t make a fuse about. Then when we came to eat it there was no sauce and hardly any veg! There was only 6 pieces of chicken and we had upgraded to a large! We rang back up and explained we couldn’t eat this it was too dry the woman was nice but very helpless and didn’t know what to do and kept having to ring us back. We wanted two fresh ones but was going to take another hour for this so we asked for a refund instead. When the man came to the door he demanded to see both meals. I had chucked mine in the bin it was the awful but my partner still had his we showed him and he only refunded us for 1! Couldn’t believe what I was hearing! Awful customer service! Not acceptable someone shouting at my door at my home. Never again!

We wanted something different and we had heard some good things about this place. It is set out as a cafe, we decided on a takeaway on this occasion. Cafe is clean, fairly basic but had a nice feeling to it. All I can say is WOW... on arrival we were welcomed with open arms... the owners were so hospitable and explained the menu to us. We opted for curried goat, jerk chicken and fried chicken, rice and peas and dumplings. It was amazingly tasty, beautifully cooked. We were also treated to mutton soup on the house. Would I recommend this place, 100%, we can't wait to go back. Fresh home cooked tasty food and great value for money.
