The Eveleigh Hotel Restaurant - Redfern

The Eveleigh is my local and has a great atmosphere with lots of friendly patrons, a good selection of drinks and great food.

Loud but excellent. If you don't mind a loudish but fun pub atmosphere and like good eats at a reasonable price this place is great.

I used to live two streets away when this was first a beaten down old man pub and then what seemed like perma-closed.

Recently dropped into this pub with the family as we were walking into Sydney. The menu looked nice, not too expensive and there was no crowd. The staff were friendly and we ended up spending a few hours enjoying a nice selection of food we shared.The ambiance of the place was nice and relaxing. No blaring noise or gaudy decorations to distract you from pleasant conversation.If in the neighborhood again, would happily drop in for lunch

We were looking for somewhere to eat around Chippendale. We We came across this pub and decided to give it a try. Very happy we did. We had seafood linguine it was delicious the mussels and calamari cooked beautifully. Followed by Moroccan lamb with couscous full of flavours again delicious. Great wine selection and great staff. Can't go wrong.
