Not a superb meal overall for 3 mature ladies and a hungry male; but the...intention was always to everyone enjoy a dessert. Pleasant meals that then contain the apple Crepe desserts. The food here makes a big change from the typical hotel or club food experience.
We cannot travel overseas because covid19, but if you have a longing for a European breakfast, you cannot pass the Bavarian Blue in Wellington Point. We had the dish for two... cooked eggs sea trout, salami, ham, two types of cheese, jam all with...fresh rolls and sourded bread. If you like to try different teas, there is a large selection. We'll be back, highly recommended.
We ordered the Mothers Day Platter for 4 and had him last night. Thank you for being the best! Everything was perfectly cooked and there was a wide selection of everything. Big portions and no morsel left. Nice service from the cook and the girl served. Such nice people and good service. This restaurant is a jewel!
I came to this restaurant for the second time, but I won't be returning again. The 1kg pork dish was actually only 750g, including the bone, and was frozen on the inside. I decided to try the pork schnitzels instead, which were okay, and the vegetables were tasty. Our table was sticky, so we were hesitant to touch it. The waitress had trouble adding up the bill, even with a calculator, and got the total wrong three times. It's no surprise that this restaurant is not as busy as others in the area. It's a shame because it has the potential to be great.
The waitress was excellent with my grandchildren, who were practicing their German. I particularly liked the variety of mushrooms and the potato and cottage cheese dishes more than the meat, and would order them again. I am interested in trying other dishes. However, my grandchildren found the kids schnitzel to be a bit chewy.
