Toscani's at Victoria Point

Great place for food and wine with a wonderful outlook of the lake. Great for all meals. Turtles are a plenty to watch swimming in the lake

My Fiancee & I went to what is now Barcella at Victoria point the other night. The staff were great, the cuisine has changed from primarily Italian, to primarily Spanish, and whilst the Paella ( Spanish rice dish ) was not all to my ( Thai ) Fiancee's liking, I tried it and didn't mind it. My Fiancee said the seafood in her mains was good, she just didn't like that style of rice dish. Our entree's were very good and so was my slow-cooked lamb. The Sth Aust. Pinot Grigio was alright also.

Nothing is good about this place! Young staff running this place that struggle in service and food preparation. The wine was terrible, the food sloppy and not eatable and service you would expect if you were dining at a ten pin bowling alley!

Like the title says, I've been here a few times now, mostly with my fiancee, but once with a mate when both our women were away. The staff are always friendly, the food has almost always excellent, my fiancee is Thai, so we do the Thai thing, buy different meals and share them between us ( I wasn't so fussed on the grilled salmon we had last time, but to be honest, that probably has more to do with my tastes ) I've had pizza, chicken, barramundi, all excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, a great spot by the man-made lake, but if you are there early, you may have to share your dining experience with children. Their wine choices are ok, and the coffee is worth going there just for it ! ( and maybe a bit of mud cake )

Thought we would try u out 4 breakky for a change.. well.. After a 40min wait to be served dried out shriveled saus and satn pan too long omelette with burnt coffees to boot..Maybe take on an xtra chef to help cater for your peaktime hungry clientele.. definitely will not be back!! I even told the waiter we would go next door to Grill'd if we had2 wait any longer!!#Go spend your hard earned money at the other lovely restaurants nearby that hava 15min turnaround from ordering to eating. Yes we have tried them!#
