High Desert Music Hall - Redmond

This restaurant is a gorgeous spot with a spacious and well-stocked bar. Their vegan options are excellent, especially the pico-de-gallo. We started by sharing a few plates, but we quickly realized we needed to order our own because we couldn't stop eating! The staff was very friendly, especially Matt the bartender. We arrived early before the live music started, so it wasn't too crowded. Redmond, Oregon definitely needs more vegan-friendly/plant-based restaurants like this one. We were thrilled to discover a completely vegan menu in Redmond! The food, drinks, and ambiance were all fantastic. We're looking forward to returning for live music!

We were excited to try out this newly opened vegan restaurant for dinner on Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to take pictures of the Saturday menu, but I did grab a menu for their Sunday brunch on the way out. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with space for small entertainment, such as live music or poetry readings, on the upper floor. The staff was friendly, and the music created a fun and diverse environment. The food was delicious and surprisingly similar in texture and seasoning to the non-vegan dishes it was replicating. The fries were large and delicious. Although there weren't many options on tap, I hope that will change soon. This restaurant is only the second completely vegan place in a city that is not very vegan-friendly, so I am happy to support them as they continue to grow and offer more hours, menu items, and events. It's a great addition to the local dining scene.

UPDATE: As of June 2023, this restaurant no longer offers a separate vegan menu. However, they do have a vegan pizza option available. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with a spacious and well-decorated bar. The vegan options are excellent, especially the pico de gallo. We shared multiple dishes and couldn't stop eating! We plan on ordering our own plates during our next visit. The staff, including bartender Matt, was very friendly. We visited before the live music started, so it wasn't crowded. Redmond, OR could definitely benefit from more vegan/plant-based restaurants like this one. Be sure to check out HDMH! (Review updated from June 8, 2022)
