I regularly arrive (2 /wk for ~6 months (because I'm moved into the opposite), I have consistently disappointed myself with the very unconsistent quality of my drink. a few games of things that I have experienced beyond my time: they have not heated up several times my ceramic cups before serving my hot drink in it, which meant that my milk was lukewarm (the milk could also have been underheated to begin with an occasion (I rarely get cold drinks, they served a soaking unit with agave in it temperature some days it burns my mouth hot, others it is slandering lukewarm. rarely it is in this sweet spot of 130 150 degrees. it seems that they have a high turnover (or often hire new people? how it feels, at least once a month, I meet with someone in the cash that tells me I'm new or that's my first day. Maybe this high turnover/constant new employment is the original for the lack of quality control? Now they look like I said it's in homage to my home that is great service. So, yes, I'll come a few times in the week. I only really wish they could find out how to make a consistently wonderful drink, so I could come in 4 5x/wk for my drink (instead of getting in my car and driving ~15 minutes to another coffee shop that makes the most consistent quality of absolutely delicious drinks. they are simply not so comfortable for me.
I dig the vibe of the coffee shop, similar to the one in Hermosa Beach but better located, in a shopping village steps away from the beach. It's bright and cozy, service was friendly too. However, my flat white was really not up to standard. It tasted a little bitter and too hot, especially for a warm afternoon.
I ordered a soy milk latte, it was not the best. The area is very nice, decor is beautiful.
I like Hi Fi Espresso at the Riviera Village. I'm a regular at the Hermosa Beach location, but on the way to a hike in PV we passed by this location and wanted to give it a try. It's the larger of the two Hi-Fi cafes, but most people get their drinks to go. Coffee is great as always. I tried the bees knees and it was sweet but not overly so. I like their lavender latte as well. Both hot and iced coffee options are solid. It's definitely pricier than other independent coffee shops in the area. Especially if you have to change milk options (I have to since I'm lactose sensitive), probably the priciest latte in the South Bay. The way the space is laid out is, it's hard to find a seat without feeling like you're in the way of the long line of people trying to get their coffees. Staff is friendly. Parking is a little challenging on the weekend, but that's expected of Riviera Village.
Amazing coffee, plenty of choices of alternative milks including my favourite oat milk! Oat milk latte art was a perfection! Would be great if they added more vegan options, including some vegan pastry but overall a very cool place to have a specialty coffee at! Avo toast was also very good! :
