The latte was great and wasn't watery nor too sweet. The custard cream was eggy and delicious. I liked that the tea was caffeine free because I'm nursing and trying to avoid caffeine. My toddler enjoyed the brioche muffin. They have so many delicious pastries to choose from. The croissant was flaky and the cream inside wasn't too thick or runny. The powdered sugar on top made it aesthetically pleasing. The bad:The brioche was just okay. It was a little confusing how it looks like a mini muffin with the texture of bread. They have something called a croissant cube that I'd love to try next time. The interesting:Rooibos tea's packed with antioxidants and is supposedly pretty healthy!

I love coffee and croissants and this 2023; I may have just found may new fave spot to go to! Krust Bakery and Coffee is a cute little coffee spot in Redondo Beach that I just recently discovered and visited. I came on a rainy Wednesday morning but despite it being midweek and raining; folks were continuously coming in an indication that this a indeed a good and popular place). It was my first visit and I know it won't be my last. I got a Chicken Turnover $5.50) and a Strawberry and Cream Croissant $6.50). Their food items are slightly pricey but they do bake everything in-house, except for croissants.I took my pastries to the back where they have nice and quiet area with comfy couches, chairs and tables for folks to enjoy their coffee and pastries. I really liked their seating area. It's so cute and quaint and definitely a good place for hanging out and just relaxing.I tried the Chicken Turnover first. They had heated it up for me and so it was nice and warm. I though the chicken filling was flavorful but it was slightly salty. It was tasty though. The Strawberry and Cream Croissant was my favorite. It was a pretty large croissant with lots of cream and strawberries. The croissant was flaky and buttery and I loved the sweet flavoring that the cream and strawberries added. This is a definite must try.I really enjoyed my visit here and I must admit I was already eyeing some of their other fresh baked pastries for a future visit. From their breakfast pies to their croissant waffles; I definitely am making a list of things I want to try!
Yummy little whole in the wall.Owned and operated by a hard working baker who at 10a was still at it from the early morning bake. Went in with a friend and had the Turkey, Egg Sandwich, She had the Brie Prosciutto sandwich, and shared a fresh asked for and made for us, almond croissant, and last the quiche lorraine.Everything was delightful, from the service, cute sitting area in the back to all the food. The breads so fresh and croissant just flaky and moist. I would have liked my egg to have a runny yolk but still made well except for that, and the touch of berry jam with the turkey just the right amount. All in all I would recommend this place for a nice brunch treat or early baked good. There are so many yummy things I will go back.Parking is easy to find the location a little harder just keep an eye out for the address then you will walk up to see the place in the back.P.S. I did get a couple of coffee's and they were good, but with Boy and the Bear so close not sure I would order coffee here. Above Average coffee for sure, but I'm a little snobby about my coffee LOL.
