Denny's - Redwood City

My boyfriend and I always love this location. Understandable they are understaffed, but some of the nicest people ever working there. We came in to do some homework and eat dinner. It was empty, but they had about 3 people working that shift. Completely understand they can’t bring coffee or hot sauce quickly because of checking on some tables and cleaning, but we did not mind the wait.

Incredible food nice and hot and perfect. Definitely coming back soon!!!!

My date had all you can eat pancakes yummy and was fluffy. I had omlette, was good. Waitress was on time for drinks, we never ran out. Great job. Food was cooked the way we like.

Not a usual customer of Denny's but our burgers were really tasty and fresh! My onion rings were not greasy and the service was really good!

When we got here at about 10 25 am, they were very busy and we were told it was a 10-minute wait. We went to the restroom and we were gone maybe for 4-minutes. When we got back, the girl said it 's about a 20-minute wait. This was the same hostess. I told her we already checked in and you told me it was a 10-minute wait 5 minutes ago. She didn 't recognize we just spoke to her. Customer service on her end was a 2. She did not know what to do when or the common sense to apologize that she crossed our name off as seated already. She should have gotten a manager to seat us as she said 'I don 't know, I don 't know what to do ' She needs a little bit more experience. And what to do when she does not know what to do. When we were seated, everything was good. The waitress came to us right away. But she was preoccupied looking around and tapping her pen on her pad of paper while she was waiting for us to order. I thought that was a little bit rude. My husband food was great. My food was cold and the Grits were not cooked correctly. I told the manager and he corrected it and they came back. Excellent.... Overall, it was not the best experience but they fixed it and the managers customer service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean, which I did like.
