I wish they had brought out our appetizers first before the entrées. They brought both of the dishes at the same time, so one was cold by the time I finished the other. My friend and I ordered 4 dishes in total- oxtail udon, wagyu steak garlic rice, uni flan, and chicken karaage. Uni flan was very bland. Wagyu steak was buttery, and rice had a pleasant garlic flavor; nothing too overpowering. The sauce that came with karaage was pretty good.
Wagyu garlic rice’s 10/10. This place has good food quality, unique and a little bit pricey but worth it. Will come back again for Wagyu garlic rice!!
Restaurant had a lot of open seats at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. Lots of free street parking around here. You order all your food online on a running tab for your table. Prices are expensive, but quite valuable. The smoked poke was a highlight and the veggie tempura was very fresh and worth it. They don 't have a lot of basic Japanese cuisine like sushi or curry rice, but instead have a menu filled with really interesting items. Staff are very nice and attentive. Thank you!
Don’t worth the money. The food is ok, but I don’t think it worth of the price. With this price, you can have decent okamase in bay area. In additional, the uni is the worse uni I ever had. For a restaurant with $100/person, the uni should be much fresher. In all, you can get better food (uni) elsewhere.
I’d recommend the wagyu garlic rice, it was delicious! The grilled unagi bowl was ok/average. We went for lunch and the portion was not big but just enough for two of us.
