Young's - Redwood City

Awesome candy shop and ice cream parlor! It is the classic old-timey candy store that kids' dreams are made of. Colorful, fun, and all different kinds of candy. They also make classic banana splits, different kinds of sundaes, etc. Fun place to visit when you have that sweet tooth.

We had a small group of kids, 4 to be exact, and we had our own little party here during the summer. It was awesome. The kids felt special, we had ice cream candy, the kids got toys (of which the selection is out of this world) and it could really appeal to kids of several age groups! The service is great. The only downer NO BATHROOM. >I have a 5 6 yr old and they ALWAYS have to go only when you arrive at your destination. We then had to search the street for an available bathroom. (at 3pm lots of restaurants are still closed) Big bummer for me: melted ice cream and pee pee pants as you can imagine.

Great ice cream and candy shop. All the staff are friendly, and all the ice cream is exactly what you expect. Always a favorite with my friends and I after seeing a movie.

Great fast service, great ice cream from Loard's, a nice selection of candy. A fun place, especially for people with childlike happy instincts

Tasty sundaes, large selection of candy and chocolate. Clean and friendly. They even sell Pez for those of you who still remember those!
