The only complaint I have is that I keep forgetting about this place whenever I'm trying to decide where to eat.
I ordered a Cheese Steak, which was served fairly quickly. However, I found the addition of mayo, lettuce, and tomato a bit unexpected, as I've never seen that in a Philly version; I’m used to just onions, peppers, cheese, and a bit of hot sauce! My friend opted for the pulled pork sandwich. Make sure to check their hours before visiting. On our next trip, we decided to try their renowned Waterman’s Club and a chicken salad with lettuce and tomato, which came with nice fries. We both left feeling full and satisfied! I’m eager to return and explore more of the menu. Why not give it a try for yourself?
This is my favorite little marina restaurant. It's an authentic family-owned business with a cozy atmosphere. The bisque soup is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable.
This was likely my favorite meal from our trip to the Northern Neck. It turns out that the unexpected closure of our original destination was a fortunate twist of fate. We ordered the crab cake sandwich, a tuna sandwich, and the baked oyster appetizer from Bettie's. My husband mentioned that you could really taste how fresh and local the tuna was. All I can say is that everything was delicious, and the service was outstanding. (September 2021)
