I had tacos filled with chili con carne while the taste was good, the taco...it was soggy because of the fat that made the whole dish quite inconspicuous. the service was fast, moderately expensive, but with huge portions. I will not suggest the place for a few fine eating, but I will be for a few hungry teenagers.
I went for dinner with friends and some of us decided to eat everything they can eat, reserve ribs (Wednesday): very nice and juicy meat. also the other dishes were well prepared, more Tex-Mex style than a real mexican. the atmosphere is also...nice, but I was really disappointed by the way our waitress treated with us. Unfortunately I don't speak German, but most of the times are not a big thing, they just speak English or they try to be somehow understood. she continued to speak German to me, although she understood completely that I did not understand. Moreover, when we asked for more ripening (aice), they looked at us like hungry people who have eaten too much. if they offer such type of discount, they should accept that people order a lot nizza place and enjoyable eating, but really unprofessional service.
Good options on Italian side and Mexican side. Remember to ask for the menu in English, much easier to find what they want to watch good pizzas, great location for people.
This restaurant is actually the other half of al camino. the two are side by side and you can order everything from any menu at any location. but we didn't go to bayern to eat Mexican food, so I can't do so much about this aspekt this...unusual combination.
Peppers is one of our favourite restaurants in Regensburg. They offer tables at Heidplatz during summer and days of weather. Quality of service and food is good. They do offer vegan pasta, pizza, Mexican tacos, as well as burgers. Of course I prefer to have...normal cheese in my burger and it's possible.
