Dawat India - Regina

Absolutely love Indian food and that's hands down the best Indian food in Regina. Also very lovable for two people. Usually you only spend $30 and have many left overs. The veggie platter is excellent.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have never been yelled at over the phone like the lady yelled at me when I called to say something was missing from our order. I had the call on speaker and my friends were shocked. She kept screaming and wouldn't let me get a word in. She even told me she would yell at me! I couldn't say anything because she was so out of control. It's disappointing to see from the reviews that this is a habit of hers to yell at customers. It's a shame because we really enjoy their food. However, we will never go there again or order from there. I am shocked at how she spoke to me.

We recently had lunch at Dawat and were treated to excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant had a peaceful and clean atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

We recently dined at a buffet dinner that was extremely disappointing, especially for vegetarians. The noodles and rice were excessively hard and dry, while the meat was tough and had an unpleasant odor. Despite expressing our concerns to the server and manager, we were dismissively told that we should have tried the food before ordering. When I suggested leaving a review, the staff showed little concern. The next day, I experienced food poisoning from the meal. Overall, the experience was terrible and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Bad service. we ordered food on skip the dishes. Also, i called the restaurant to confirm it. I clearly told the guy that i need food tonight, but i never got it. After waiting long enough, I called the restaurant to check again, but no...response. Big disappointment.
