Contribuisci feedbackI'm usually not one to complain, however I think the feedback might be useful. My wife and I were out running some errands and decided to grab a drink and a bite to eat. It was Sunday afternoon. We wanted to sit on the deck. We were asked to wait to be seated, which is fine, but we waited close to 10 minutes. Understandable if they were at all busy, but the place was empty. Two tables on the deck, 3 tables in the lounge and we had to wait. Once seated we waited another 10 minutes and no server ever appeared. We walked out having waited 20 minutes and not so much as a glass of water. I am somewhat of a regular and have been for years, but the service at Earl's has been in a tailspin for a while. I know there are staffing challenges, but I couldn't see any reason for these delays on this occasion. I also have noticed the standard policy is to have people wait to be seated, but please remember who the customer is here.
May 5th, Friday Awesome experience! Our server Maddie is such a great employee! She made sure that we are satisfied with the food and the service, constantly checking if we need more water or if anything to make our dining a perfect experience. Such wonderful making you feel a VIP customer. Kudos to you Maddie! We'll come back again soon!
The kung pao lunch was not made from fresh anything. The vegetables were either freeze dried or frozen and I cannot say how the noodles were prepared! It was served in a dish with the jalapeno peppers placed on top...not cooked into the dish. Very expensive for so so food.
We went for supper at 4:30 so the restaurant was very quiet with very few customers. We were seated quickly and given a jug of water with no glasses. A server came by about 10 minutes later and noticed we didn't have glasses and said she would get some. She never ever returned. A short while later a different server took our order and finally, he brought the glasses. The food was ok. I had the Cajun salmon, and it came with crappy plain white rice. There was nothing special about it. When we finished the server said he would bring the bill and never came back. I was forced to use their website to pay at the table, since no one ever returned with the bill. The restaurant is so disorganized. No one seems to know what job they are supposed to be doing.
Why the wait. Empty restaurant but hostess staff has been instructed or taught to make people wait. Why must families wait in the entrance when restaurant is empty. Especially if u are a family: it’s second class citizenship treatment. If anyone needs a seat quicker seat it’s a kid not a chronic barfly. Get people into the restaurant and seated. Let them visit inside rather than outside in the foyer All this staff restaurant is maybe 20 percent filled and they are telling new customers they can seat them in ten minutes? What -why no one os inside! Water glasses and cutlery take 10 minutes. An absurd elitist set up.
