I also an old fashioned and I wanted another. I had a Bulleit with orange star anise and aztec chocolate. It was like a dessert. My main was the schnitzel sticks with fries. It was ok. Nothing special but it filled me up and I was happy. All our dishes were great for sharing. Easy going atmosphere and roomy booth seating.
Gave this pub another chance after over 2 years boycotting it. The food was actually very good once you got past the pretentious items like lobster nachos which they won't leave off the dish. Regardless the food was good and booze prices reasonable. Service was almost non existent. Even when less than half full getting service was near impossible.
This is our local, and we live it! Good, interesting pub grub, nice atmosphere and friendly service. A great place to have supper, a local brew or a delicious caesar, or watch the game.
We went here because most other places were reserved and I see why. Service was friendly and prompt, and the Caesar I had was delicious. As for the food...pricey for what you get. I ordered the chick pea black bean salad and literally that is what you get- 3 little pieces of lettuce in the bottom of a dish with likely half a can of chick peas and half a can of black beans with some olive oil on it. For $12.00! The tomato feta salad was about as unappealing and overpriced. Corn chowder soup was more impressive than the salads. Comfortable surroundings, maybe they could just re-evaluate their prices.
The food isn't that great... It's a fusion of Asian and western. If you have celiac disease, it doesn't have many choices to choose from.
