Tangerine - Regina

We were looking forward to trying out the restaurant as it always seemed to have an interesting menu based on what I see on social media. Upon visiting the staff seemed distracted (although it wasn’t packed inside). Only ordered muffins and coffee to go. Muffins were mediocre, when I went to get a drip coffee 2 of the kinds were empty. Also ordered an americano misto. It wasn’t even drinkable. We won’t be returning.

In the middle of Covid and restrictions we were faced with what do we do and how can we safely celebrate the season with our staff?? Enter Tangerine. Delivered delicious individual turkey dinners. We have a very diverse staff and all were quite pleased. I will definitely visit their retail space! Well done!

What a terrific place; we had both lunch and breakfast here. The food is top quality ... beautiful ingredients and lots of interesting options. Today we both had coffees mine with almond milk , a breakfast muffin made with prosciutto, roasted red pepper and mozzarella and a bowl of Mexican black bean soup with generous portions of chorizo and a piece of crust less quiche “tart” with bacon, sun dried tomato and Brie cheese that is baked to perfection ... moist and delicious! The atmosphere is quaint, great jazz music playing not too loud, it’s spotless and the washrooms are well appointed and very clean. Service is also very lovely and quick. I totally recommend Tangerine! Best eats in Regina by far!

I work near Tangerine, and we use them for catered lunches and I also go in to purchase my own lunch from time to time. While it is a little pricey for lunch, it is always the best food. I think its worth paying a little more and getting such excellent quality food. The atmosphere is so lovely simple, very clean, fresh flowers on the tables. They also do this cute thing called born yesterday where you can get discounted food (like their quiche/tart) and its still fantastic, but just one day old. I am never disappointed with the food, taste and quality.

Friendly staff, delicious menu. The food is always fresh. The restaurant is clean and bright. A tad expensive for lunch $40.00 for two sandwiches, a side salad, two drinks and a brownie but once in a while it is definately worth the splurge!
