Obie's By The Sea - REHOBOTH BEACH

We had a dinner party of six, but one meal was completely forgotten and the server didn’t even notice. The lemonade was disappointing; it tasted like slightly flavored water. The location is fantastic, but improvements are needed in other areas. On the positive side, the fries were quite good!

I just lost a lengthy review, so I’ll keep this one short. While visiting friends in the area, we went to Obie's for lunch on June 18th—our first visit to the area. Besides the stunning view and excellent service, I was pleasantly surprised by what I thought would be a simple light lunch. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which turned out to be at least half a pound of delicious chicken salad, perfectly prepared. I ended up ditching the roll and eating it with a fork because it was so good. The chicken was moist and flavorful, with no visible dressing but wonderfully seasoned. I have to mention that the side of coleslaw was nothing special, but the non-alcoholic mango smoothie I had more than made up for it. Our waiter, Eric, was great. Although I live too far away to return, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beachfront dining experience.

Very nice place. Nothing better than drinking a mixed drink with a view of the ocean. Drink was good and bartender was very nice!

Excellent food and drinks! The ribs are simply outstanding—served hot, tender, and falling off the bone. The patio seating and bar with a beach view has become a go-to spot for me whenever I'm in town, which is quite frequently. I also want to highlight our server, Artem. He was very attentive, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. I was really impressed that he remembered my specific drink order from my last visit just two weeks ago! This place is fantastic! I highly recommend Obie’s to anyone visiting the Rehoboth boardwalk.

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the view is fabulous. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable.
